I am the first member of my family in over 150 years on my father's side and 300 years on my mother's side not to have been born in the United States. I have always been fascinated by my family's history and have over the years asked questions and recorded answers about our family. It wasn't until the last of my aunts died that I realized that I was losing opportunities that would not come again and that I needed to actively go about finding out and recording the history of my family. Here then, in these pages, is my gift to my children, the history of their American Family.
